Tartan, tartan, tartan!

So it is that time again where I craze about tartan --> I must explain, tartan has been my love for sooo many years now and I simply must own anything with it's pattern :D I have bags, shoes, trousers, dresses, skirts etc. and even a rubber duck which I insanely love :)

Yesterday, my new tartan blazer arrived and I was yet again mesmerized by it's beauty :) So why not do a look to go with my new style item?!

This is probably one of my favourite eye make ups: a shimmery brown smokey eye matched with red brows! I absolutely LOVE this combo which is why I've done it before :)

Glamour! Glamour!

So today I felt like getting all dressed up for, well, my look of the day, ha ha! You know I usually do rock chick kinda looks, or crazy make ups, so today I felt like transforming myself into a lady, ha ha! Yesterday's bridal shoot really inspired me too... I defo gotta think about doing a bride look or a few different ones :) So MANY make up ideas floating around in my head :)

For this look, I mostly used my Sleek eyeshadows and my loose Lanmei pigments from ebay... Absolutely LOVE those pigments!

Quick update!

Hello lovelies! So today I was helping my photographer friend Katharina with a bridal shoot so I didn't really get to do a proper look today... But here is a quick and pretty pink & orange ombre lippy look I did to keep you all entertained :) Used my favourite p2 cosmetics lippy in pink and Flormar's orange lippy for the centre of the lips --> Hope ye like it anyway!

Glam Rock with Johnny ;)

So this was yesterday's look but I forgot to upload it, ha ha! I felt like a bit of glam rock (can you tell I've been playing too much Guitar Hero lately?!) and really wanted to do a proper gold/black look seeing as I hadn't done one yet :) I used my loose pigments that I got from ebay mixed in with Sleek eyeshadows.

Whooops!

Ooops! Ouch! Did the Beauty Pig get a little "too" excited about drawing today?! --> Nah, I merely gave my borrowed SFX kit a go and tested myself out on a pencil stabbing wound :P ... Given, it was my first attempt and all ... But man, this jazz is difficult! I bow to those who master the act of SFX-ing. Practice, practice, practice on the to-do list :D

New piggy in the house!

Yay, my new phone cover arrived today! Yet another bargain from good old ebay, he he! Piggy Macbeth has already welcomed "Othello" into the piggy family --> A great friendship lies ahead I think :)

I was feeling most summery the last few days! Especially with the absolutely fabulous weather we are having :) So this was a fun and colourful summery look I did :) I had a strange urge for blue brows as well so why not combine it all, ha ha! --> Hope you guys like it!

Purple + Turquoise Eyes!

The time has come again --> My obsession with purple led to this look :D (Plus the inspiration of my awesome Flat Fitty hat) ... I tested out my new loose pigments from Ebay for this look and I must say, they hold fabulously wth my eyeshadow base from ArtDeco! I figured I would have a problem with them because they are loose, but that eyeshadow base is truly a trooper! I especially love having purple brows, don't really know why, ha ha!

SFX time!

Would you look at that! I got to borrow this amazing sfx kit plus looooaaaads of reading material to test myself out on the subject for a little while... I must admit, it does seem quite tricky but I'm gonna give it a go anyways :) Plus, there are lots of zombie pictures to keep me entertained :P Hooray!

Poppin' the hat 'n' hair :)

"Hey, I'm MC Lars, a wholesome kid. So popular I mess with the Olsen twins..." --> Can you tell I'm listening to too much Post-Punk Laptop Rap at the minute?! Ha ha!

Anyways, poppin' one of my favourite looks ever: my Flat Fitty Snap Back Cap (because my head is so small) + colourful make up + bubblelicious hair! If I could go into work like this, I would look like this everyday, but oh well :) Minus the pink hair, it's pretty accurate ;)

Bubblelicious!

Pastel pink frenzy going on over here :) --> Finally got to try out my new wig from ebay (was so busy doing work for the contest & being sick that I didn't get time) but I LOVE it!!! I've been debating dying my hair this colour for a while now, but I just can't decide. So a wig is always handy to make up your mind and test out how the colour looks on you!

Plus, I got to do more "candy" make up, which I INSANELY love, ha ha! I especially liked the ombre lips! I've been wanting to do an ombre look for ages, so why not combine it ALL :) All I need now is a pink power ranger suit and I will be good to go :)

True Blood Contest - Eric

Well now, you guys probably know I'm crazy by now, but I went all off the bat with this second entry for FACE by Emily's True Blood contest! I simply could NOT resist the temptation of morphing into sexy hunk Eric Northman :)

What do you guys think? Would I make a good viking vampire?! Ha ha ha! Given, this was my first time trying out a man's make up, I am pretty happy with it :)

FACE by Emily True Blood Contest

So this was the look I entered in FACE by Emily's True Blood contest at the weekend. I did a vampire Sookie and I'm pretty happy with the result :)

I'm debating putting in a second entry, but I gotta wait 'till I'm better --> Currently in bed with a bad tummy bug :( No fun! I just hope I get better before the deadline ends, ha ha!

New Stuff Try-out ;)

Whoop, whoop! My new orders from Ebay arrived yesterday :) Got this amazing brush set after a recommendation from "theamazingworldofj" ... She advertised these brushes on her facebook page and said they were great and I can only agree! The price is stunning (€13,99 and no shipping) and the bristles are super soft and don't fall out!

The pigments are awesome as well! The colours are so striking and the hold brilliantly with my eyeshadow base under them! Can't wait to try out all the other colours! "excited.com" here, ha ha!

Yes, it's that time again --> For awesome shoes, ha ha! My amazing new Zombie Stompers from Iron Fist inspired today's make up! God, I love it when I purchase new shoes! But hey, you gotta treat yourself every now and then ;)
